Black Lives Matter

The current study discusses the movement known as “Black Lives Matter” created in 2012, orientating in the African- American community. Since 2012, the movement has significantly progressed, following the racially motivated murder of Trayvon Martin, into a national organization working for the “validity of Black lives“ along with re building the black liberation movement. The movement Black Lives Matter grew rapidly, following the twitter campaign “#blacklivesmatter” after the release of George Zimmerman as well as the “posthumous trial“ of Trayvon Martin has also played out a significant role represented by the media. One of the fundamental objectives for the creation of the movement was to overcome such issues i.e. racial profiling, racial inequality, and police brutality. Nevertheless, the movement was soon recognised on a worldwide scale.
