IKEA has been one of the major manufacturer of cotton and making 75 % of home furnishing from cotton. Due to high costs of cotton farming, communities and farmers had to invest huge before implementation of modern techniques of implantation. In order to facilitate local farmers and to make cotton rapidly IKEA has started practice of sustainable cotton farming.
