MA PRODUCT INNOVATION

 Innovation establishes the main essential factor in design and basically in every major. This definition leads to the whole concept of creating something new or improving an existing one. The history of innovation is massive and it can also be called evolution regarding products and processes. These factors along with innovation types, processes, and furniture design and manufacturing drivers of innovation are focused on the literature review. Research showed thatinnovation has to do with improved and new products or processes to please people and fulfil their needs and that innovation is a very significant factor for a company.The aim of this thesis is to discover the different innovation processes, the importanceand the role of innovation, people’s needs, sources of innovation and furniture designing and manufacturing processesin two different countries. Research from different sources about innovation and processes, R&D, technologies and manufacturing is completed.
