Art, literature, and culture reflect ideology, ethics, and customs of a particular nation. The book Shahnameh, meaning “The Book of Kings” is a long “epic poem” (a lengthy narrative poem) written by a Persian poet named as Ferdowsi (Davidson, 2002, pp.88-105). Due to its significance the poem has held its position as the national epic of Greater Iran.
