Diabetes is one of the most diseases and in this case, the body does not produce insulin due to the destruction of the beta cells in the pancreas. There are three main different types of diabetes; type 1, is a T cell-mediated autoimmune disease which results in islet beta cell destruction. This indicates that the body does not produce any insulin. Type2 diabetes is referred in situation where the body produces insulin but not enough or even though the body produces enough, the cells do not react to the changes of the blood sugar. Gestational diabetes is the diabetes which is diagnosed in pregnant women and is the one which will be explained in this report.
